Moving an Office in Columbia's Business Corridors

Columbia’s commercial real estate is concentrated along a few main corridors – Broken Land Parkway, Dobbin Road, Snowden River Parkway, and the Columbia Gateway office parks near Lake Elkhorn. Each area has its own quirks. The Gateway buildings have loading docks, but some are shared across multiple tenants, which means you need to coordinate timing or you’ll be waiting. Older office suites along Dobbin Road often lack freight elevators entirely – if you’re on the second floor, everything goes up the stairs. The newer mixed-use buildings in Town Center have strict move-in/move-out windows and require COIs from your mover before they’ll even let a truck into the loading area. We’ve done relocations in all of these buildings. We know which property managers need three days’ notice and which ones need three weeks. That kind of familiarity matters when your goal is to be fully operational in your new space by Monday morning.
