Towson is Baltimore County's seat and one of the most active moving markets in the region. Between the university, the courthouse district, and the established residential neighborhoods, we handle a steady stream of moves in and out of Towson throughout the year.
Towson offers everything from early 20th-century homes in Aigburth Vale and Rodgers Forge to high-rise apartments downtown and student housing near Towson University. The Rodgers Forge rowhomes are particularly common - brick, two-story, with front porches and tight interior stairways.
Towson University drives a seasonal wave of student moves in August and May. The downtown area has a mix of older buildings and newer high-rises, with varying elevator and loading dock situations. The residential neighborhoods surrounding Towson have tree-canopied streets with on-street parking that can be tight on weekdays.

Towson's moving season has two peaks: the typical spring-summer family moving season and the August-January student cycle driven by Towson University. The Rodgers Forge neighborhood is one of the most move-intensive areas we serve - hundreds of identical brick rowhomes with interior staircases that have a specific turn radius. If you've carried furniture up one of those staircases, you know that a standard 36-inch doorway and a 90-degree stair turn don't leave much room for a queen mattress or a sectional. We've done enough Rodgers Forge moves to know exactly which pieces need to come apart and which can be angled through. Downtown Towson is a different experience - newer buildings, elevators, managed loading zones - but you need to book the loading dock in advance or you'll be waiting in the parking garage.
