Fulton is a small but growing community on Columbia's western edge, with newer construction and family-oriented neighborhoods. Our crews are on familiar ground here, handling moves from townhomes in Maple Lawn to larger homes along Maple Lawn Boulevard and Route 216.
Fulton is anchored by the Maple Lawn development - a mix of townhomes, condos, and single-family homes built in the 2000s and 2010s. Outside Maple Lawn, you'll find older homes on larger rural lots along Route 216 and Scaggsville Road.
Maple Lawn's planned layout means well-maintained streets and easy truck access, but the townhomes have the typical three-story, narrow-staircase design that requires methodical furniture handling. The older properties in the surrounding area sit on sloped, wooded lots that present different access challenges entirely.
Fulton to Columbia, Fulton to Laurel, Fulton to Clarksville, Fulton to Silver Spring
Fulton is split between two very different moving environments. Maple Lawn is modern, clean, and well-organized - the streets are wide enough for our trucks, the townhomes are uniform, and we know the layout. But just a mile down Route 216, you're in a rural setting with older farmhouse-style homes on sloped, wooded properties where the driveway might be gravel and the nearest flat staging area is 40 feet from the front door. We handle both, but we plan them very differently. Maple Lawn townhome moves are usually a two-person crew for three to four hours. A larger home on a rural Fulton lot may need four movers and most of a day.
